US suspends use of pesticide DCPA/Dacthal over links to foetal damage

The US gov­ernment has issued an emergency ban on pesticides containing dimethyl tetrachlo­roterephthalate (also known as DCPA or Dacthal) over a con­nection to foetal damage.
